An Evening of Kirtan and Community

Join Loren as he welcomes Bhatki Connection, an Ottawa-based kirtan group, for the first time to 209 Hannah Street.

Kirtan is a beautiful way to connect and move us beyond the stuff of our mind. It can serve as a catalyst to a spiritual connection, and indeed as a tool for spiritual unfoldment. Chanting or singing is used in essentially all spirirtual traditions because of its power to transport us.

For those who’ve not experienced kirtan with a group of like-minded beings, this is not to be missed. One need not have a perfect singing voice, it only requires an open heart. And even if your heart is a wee-bit sticky, the energy of the group will open it for you.

The evening will include:

meditation
group chanting
refreshments and treats
lots of love!

This evening promises to be very special. It is an opportunity to experience yoga in a different way.
